Strike is the stoppage of work.it is a very important weapon to protect rights. Actually when all means like dialogue. arguments and persuasions fail, strike is resorted to, to force and compel the authority to come to the terms of the Strikers. There are different kinds of strikers and strikes. Now, whatever be the nature of strikes, they cause much inconvenience. It often leads to violence. This age old  legitimate weapon is not always properly used. Vested interested people provoke strikes to gain their narrow purposes and party interests ignoring peoples demands. Unfortunately, today strikes are menace to common people when it is called by opposition party; but when ruling party calls a strike, it is celebrated in festive mood. The organizers do not spare the patient and other essential movements and recently strikes fail to solve any problems. So it should not be forgotten that well beings of one, rest on the well-being of other.[159 words]
